Love, I didn't want to fall... but I have ( L )

Days earlier I blogged about whether there is actually something called love. I didn't believe it! Some parts of me don't want to believe it at the risk of getting hurt, but I don't think I can fight it. I am in love!

The feeling that I'm experiencing right now are direct lyrics from Nat Bassingthwaighte's song "This Can't Be Love"

This can't be love, just hooked up for fun, you couldn't be the one, those things never last
This can't be love, that's not what I need, you feel to good to me, this habits forming fast

I just wanted a kiss, it ended up like this, it's getting so hard to resist

This can't be love
It's not what it feels like, everything's way too good
It's not what it feels like, don't even think I could
Even though it seems so right, thinking maybe I might tonight
This can't be love

This can't be love, I tried to escape, those stupid mistakes, so don't say that word
This can't be love, to feel this free, when you're here with me, everything's been blurred

I just wanted to feel, it ended up too real, its getting so hard to deal

This can't be love
It's not what it feels like, everything's way too good
It's not what it feels like, don't even think I could
Even though it seems so right, thinking maybe I might tonight
This can't be love, this can't be love

Just wanna let go, no need to know
Don't wanna think bout it tonight, don't wanna think bout it tonight
Just close my eyes and feel you by my side
Don't wanna think bout it tonight, I wanna think bout it tonight

This can't be love
It's not what it feels like, everything's way too good
It's not what it feels like, don't even think I could
Even though it seems so right, thinking maybe I might tonight
This can't be love

This can't be love
It's not what it feels like, everything's way to good
It's not what it feels like, don't even think I could
Even though it seems so right, thinking maybe I might tonight
This can't be love, this can't be love

This song, every single lyric is my whole life at the moment. It's like the song was directly written for my life. I just feel so happy. I have a weird feeling in my stomach saying "this isn't right. I don't like the unusual feeling, but at the same time its the most amazing thing I've ever felt"

Well I think I should go! My parents will be happy that I'm in a good mood for once! They won't know why though ;)

Until next time <3 xo

That four letter word.

Love, what is this little word that we seem to use on a day to day basis in this world?

What is love?

Is love real?

Does love really last?

These are questions that we have to ask ourselves. I can say to a friend "See you tomorrow, love you" or to my parents "Night, love you" but most importantly, to a partner "I love you". All of these have separate meanings to all of us.

Some of the different types of love extracted by a book by Kaz Cooke...

Family love - They drive me crazy but I love them anyway

Friendship love - I loveee my friends (Until they're not my friends anymore)

Celebrity love - OMG! I'm cutting out their picture from this magazine!

Lust - I really want to do things with this person with the lights turned off

Unrequited love - I love you, but you don't love me.

Romantic love - I'm so happy right now I could sing from the rooftop.

Relationship love - We've been together for six months. I don't know if it will be forever but right now we just want to be together and have heaps of fun!!

Lasting love - I've loved this person for years. We get along well together and we have similar ideas about some important things, and we're comfortable together and I never seem to want anyone else. <3

These are the types of love! But are any of these actually real? I'm someone who does think, maybe, just maybe there is this little thing called love out. But I'm still not convinced. Is it possible for two people who don't believe in love to find love with each other, feel entirely at peace with one another? Could it really be?

I don't want to get married. I really do feel that if you were to find love with someone your life should be more than just one day together. That you don't need a massive "party" to prove to your friends and family that you are madly, head over heels in love.

I have to say I'm an awesome secret keeper. Over the last few years I've had relationships and hooked up with a few randoms and even my closest friends don't know that. I guess I feel more comfortable expressing myself through text as I find it confronting talking to people. I guess it's funny, they all think I'm sweet and innocent ;) I find hook-ups are better because there is no emotional attachment whatsoever. However a relationship always seems to end and people get hurt! :@

So yeah, tell me your views on love? Let me know if it's real.

Until next time, With Love + Laughter, bey xoxo
