That four letter word.

Love, what is this little word that we seem to use on a day to day basis in this world?

What is love?

Is love real?

Does love really last?

These are questions that we have to ask ourselves. I can say to a friend "See you tomorrow, love you" or to my parents "Night, love you" but most importantly, to a partner "I love you". All of these have separate meanings to all of us.

Some of the different types of love extracted by a book by Kaz Cooke...

Family love - They drive me crazy but I love them anyway

Friendship love - I loveee my friends (Until they're not my friends anymore)

Celebrity love - OMG! I'm cutting out their picture from this magazine!

Lust - I really want to do things with this person with the lights turned off

Unrequited love - I love you, but you don't love me.

Romantic love - I'm so happy right now I could sing from the rooftop.

Relationship love - We've been together for six months. I don't know if it will be forever but right now we just want to be together and have heaps of fun!!

Lasting love - I've loved this person for years. We get along well together and we have similar ideas about some important things, and we're comfortable together and I never seem to want anyone else. <3

These are the types of love! But are any of these actually real? I'm someone who does think, maybe, just maybe there is this little thing called love out. But I'm still not convinced. Is it possible for two people who don't believe in love to find love with each other, feel entirely at peace with one another? Could it really be?

I don't want to get married. I really do feel that if you were to find love with someone your life should be more than just one day together. That you don't need a massive "party" to prove to your friends and family that you are madly, head over heels in love.

I have to say I'm an awesome secret keeper. Over the last few years I've had relationships and hooked up with a few randoms and even my closest friends don't know that. I guess I feel more comfortable expressing myself through text as I find it confronting talking to people. I guess it's funny, they all think I'm sweet and innocent ;) I find hook-ups are better because there is no emotional attachment whatsoever. However a relationship always seems to end and people get hurt! :@

So yeah, tell me your views on love? Let me know if it's real.

Until next time, With Love + Laughter, bey xoxo
